Trump's warning on replicating DC police takeover in Chicago an empty and illegal threat, local officials say

The president asserted that his takeover of DC police and use of troops to battle crime in Washington could potentially be applied to cities like Chicago. But Gov. JB Pritzker emphatically dismissed Trump's warning, saying the president "has absolutely no right and no legal ability to send troops in to the city of Chicago."
